New phone

A few days ago I forgot my Soon in the car when I got home. Unfortunately it was one of the few nights where the tempature dropped into the teens. I’m not exactly sure what happened to it but when I got it in the morning the strength stayed black but the back light would turn on. I figured it was acting weird because of the cold and pull the battery. I let it warm up and charge while I’m at work.

……..More

12 hours of charging and the damn thing still won’t turn on. I let it continue to charge when I get home for another 12 hours. Finally the bloody thing will turn on. Weird thing is that it says it’s only 30% charged. As soon as I pull the charger out the phone shuts off. I guess the battery didn’t like the cold so much.

I spend a few days trying to recharge the battery with no luck. I check out the cricKet website and find the ZTE Score for 69.99 and picked it up this morning.

Check my blog in a few days for a review of the phone.

Sanyo Zio on cricket sucks

A couple of days ago my LG Optimus C died on me. I rolled up to the cricKet in Wheaton for a warranty exchange the girl who helped told me they no longer stock the phone i had but i could get the Zio as they were compliance phones. Let me tell you. The Soon is far far inferior, it is slow, under powered, has a week battery and has an older version of android installed on it. I’m shooting customer service a message tonight and getting a new Optimistic C.

Ebook Prices

Why the hell are ebooks the same price as print? All books are written on a computer these days to begin with. I would understand $11.99 for a paper book, the electronic version though should somewhere around 50% of that as the company is not paying printing cost for the book. I can’t help but feel we ebook users are getting screwed…

Posted from my cricKet phone.
