A few days ago I sent out my resume to about 15 different companies ranging from retail to blue collar. Today while I was working I got my first call back. It was from Comcast, I passed the phone interview (while I was at my primary job none the less). Now I am waiting for my online assessment to be emailed to me. Once I pass that I have a second assessment which will be followed up with 8 weeks training then 6 months working under another installation tech. It’s grunt work but it pays good and has great benefits. I can’t wait to get the assessments out of the way so I can get started.

This week I helped my dad add a hosted blog service to his site adszi.com. Right now it is a pretty generic wordpress-mu installation. We only have 4 themes activated and are fine tuning them before we start to activate the rest (we have about 100 in total). I’m still working on what I’m going to do with the home page but I know I’m going to keep it simple with the default kubrick theme. If you get a chance head over and check it out.
